Today, September 14, 2014 surrounded by her family, my beautiful Mom passed away after fighting Pancreatic Cancer with all she had.
We cannot thank everyone enough for their love and support during this most difficult time.
My mom was a tremendous woman. She instilled a piece of her in Zach, my Dad and me that will stick with us for the rest of our lives. Mom was tenacious, generous, incredibly caring and dedicated. She devoted her life to my Dad, brother and me. There was not a moment in time in which she would not drop whatever it was she was doing to be there for us. We will forever cherish the beautiful memories we made with her.

Michele fought an incredible fight against pancreatic cancer, one we all wanted her to win.
I could not possibly wish her more suffering, but I surely will miss her. You know from my writings what I thought (and still think) of Michele. She was such a wonderful, beautiful person.
She loved you all with every fiber, and she knew you loved her. I hope you can hold on to that in this sad and difficult period.

The entire Pinzur family is saddened at the loss of this bright light in our world. Michele’s warm smile brightened every room she entered and she had a heart which touched us all, especially Scott, Zach and Bradley . Her courage and tenacity in the past 3 months is a lesson for us all. Though we faced challenging circumstances, the bonds of friendship and love shared by Michele, Scott and myself could not be broken and survived despite distance and matters beyond our control. I will personally always remember the love and concern Michele and Scott showed Carly during happy and challenging times. Their love for Carly never wavered. The Pinzur family will always be thankful for Michele and Scott’s warm and loving reception to Carly when they visited this past June. We will all miss Michele. I have lost a dear friend, but I know that friendship will be part of me for the rest of my life.

No doubt, like all of you: Scott, Zach, and Bradley , we are having trouble processing this . . . We will miss Michele so very much – particularly our marathon visits during our year end wrap ups – when there was always so much to talk about and so much to learn from Michele’s wisdom.
